Results of work package 1

WP1 was the project management and coordination work package. Here, everything from project framework, quality risk management, financial control, dissemination, and external collaboration with the advisory board and other stakeholders was organized and managed.

Results of work package 2

Literature searches, national policy papers, and focus group interviews highlight that healthcare professionals need the following competencies: 1) social skills, 2) knowledge about individual pain management, 3) the ability to guide patients with pain, and 4) knowledge of technologies that benefit pain management.

Results of work package 3

An evidence-based background and collaboration with stakeholders resulted in the design of four frameworks to guide the development of the TECH2MATCH course: 1) Blended Learning framework, 2) Real-Life scenario framework, 3) Teaching the Lecturers framework, 4) xMOOC framework.

Results of work package 4

Knowledge of which competencies healthcare professionals need and the four previously designed frameworks resulted in a ready-to-apply TECH2MATCH course. The course incorporates blended learning and real-life scenarios, delivered through an xMOOC and lecturer-initiated activities.
